It has been the devil's desire to control and manipulate people. In today's gospel, the devil attempts to have power over Jesus by naming the Lord. But Jesus remains undaunted. He drove the devil away. Which gives us courage to face the evil one, control it and never allow it to control us. Let's address the demon with the same words, "What have you to do with us?" Our strong determination, holiness of life, kove for the Eucharist and devotion to the Rosary will expel the demon. |
