It is difficult to imagine a life without second chances. Having denied the Lord three times, Peter was given the second chance. With the Risen Lord, he could mend his ways and start afresh. We should not be discouraged by a failure that made us stumble in shame. Instead, we should muster the courage to rise up and walk again. The Lord is ready to gift us with a second, third, fourth and endless chances. |
