A loving heart! A caring heart! A compassionate heart! Vis-a-vis a purely mundane view of this Day of the Hearts, a truly spiritual perspective can be highlighted. St. Valentine teaches us to put love where it is lacking. Jesus, in today's gospel, showed compassionate love for the hungry crowd. His heart was beating for the people. If we share love like that of Christ, Valentine's Day finds its true meaning. |
