It is easier said than done -- "Love your enemies." Jesus unequivocally said it - and he practised it - enjoining us to pardon and love those who have wronged us.There are people who have offended us and knew they did but never tried to ask forgiveness. Shall we fogive them? A great man once said, "If we can forgive someone who is not even sorry, we call it "strength." I dare call it "grace." We forgive not because our enemy deserves forgiveness but because we deserve peace. |
