Fill in the blanks. We must recognize that there is a blank space in a test question before we can provide the answer. Life is a constant examination. We must humbly admit that something is lacking before it can be filled in. The royal official, in today's gospel, admitted that his son was sick. He begged Jesus to heal his beloved. His humility armed with faith moved Jesus. He cured the son. We only need to accept that we lack something. From this humble recognition, Jesus will start performing miracles. |
