Truly hypocrite. That's how today's gospel pictures Judas. Apparently he was concerned about the destitute. "Why was this oil not sold for three hundred days' wages and given to the poor? Truth is - he was a thief and wanted to take advantage of such money. Which reflects our own inclination to appear generous but in reality only for selfish interest. In Filipino we use the word "sinasangkalan" or using another for our own benefit. Such hypocrisy. |
