Life conquered death. Light defeated darkness. The Lord is Risen to give us life and light. This is the joy of Easter. The tomb is empty. It is not a proof but a pointer to the reality of Resurrection. The body of Jesus was not stolen. No thief in haste would fold the burial cloth. The Lord is truly risen. His appearances would later confirm. Why do we stay outside the tomb? Why cry over a lifeless event? Let us joyfully celebrate life. Let us run and proclaim the greatest news. |
