If God is our Light, why do we still prefer darkness? Yes, we tread the dark path each time we commit sin. In today's gospel, Jesus says, "I came into the world as light" and he continues, "so that everyone who believes in me might not remain in darkness." We are children of light. The Father expects us to stay in that light. Let us liberate ourselves from the enslavement of the darkness. Let the light of Christ shine in our lives. |
