Carpenter's son. Something to be proud of. Never a cause of disdain. Jesus was owned by Joseph as his son albeit he was only a foster father. It was from Joseph that the child Jesus learned tha art of working as a craftsman. With Joseph the child Jesus started carrying wood. A prefiguration of what would happen in the future. Jesus would carry the cross. The obedient carpenter's son became obedient to his Father until death. |
