Same fate. That, in a nutshell, is the meaning of Jesus' words, "No slave is greater than his master." As he traversed the way of the cross, we shall tread the same path. Many times we complain, "Why do I have to bear the cross?" The answer is simple. We are Christians. We are followers of Christ. We cannot be free from the sufferings our Lord endured. Do you want a crossless journey ? Then, live a life that is Christless, too. |
