The written gospels are enough. They sufficiently contain what Jesus said and did. But the evangelist admits, "There are also many other things that Jesus did, but if these were to be described individually, I do not think that the whole world would contain the books that would be written." Those are our own testimonies, our own experiences of God's love. We don't have to write them. Let us simply proclaim them in our words and in our daily lives. |
