"You do not know what you are asking." These words of Jesus in response to James and John can be addressed to us. The two apostles were desiring privileges and power. Jesus knew those apostles did not understand the implication of such request. In our own prayer, we boldly telll God what we are asking for without realizing the possible outcome. It can happen that such desires of our hearts may endanger our life and our faith. |
