Loving both the saints and the sinners. That is the kind of love God has for all. The gospel says he makes the sun rise and the rain fall on both the good and the bad. Selective as we are, we need to emulate the love of God that embraces all. We tend to love only the lovable. We hate our enemies and never pray for their well-being. That is why our life is a far cry from that of God. Indiscriminate love. That's what we need to develop. |
