"If you wish, Lord." What a respectful prayer! The leprous man needed and wanted healing but he humbly submitted himself to the will of Jesus, "Lord, if you wish you can make me clean." Deeply touched by such humility, Jesus healed the leper. Lesson learned: When we pray, we should never insist on our own will. Let Jesus' will be done. We have so many human desires. We allow Jesus to take over. |
