Who has power to control the winds and the waves? Only Jesus. He is the Lord of nature. He does not only exorcise the evil spirits. He also makes the raging seas calm. Today's gospel displays that power. He has control over our lives. He does not allow anything to harm us. Let us, therefore, trust in his power and entrust ourselves to him. With his abiding presence, we can brave the storms of life. |
