When I prepare and deliver my speeches, I do my part and God does the rest. The promise in today's gospel is fulfilled in my own experience, "It is the Spirit speaking thorough you." Why should we worry about what we are going to say? It is God who will provide. His gift of wisdom is always at work. St. James says, "If any of you is without wisdom, let him ask it from
God... and it will be given him" (James. 1:5). |
