We cannot think of someone or something greater than God. St. Anselm once declared it in his Ontological Argument. The same proposition is implied in the gospel for today. Jonah and Solomon were considered great. But Jesus is greater than these two Biblical figures. It is sad that people respected and honored them but they rejected Jesus. Let us accept Jesus. He is the greatest of them all. |
