This is the motto of the brave proclaimer of truth: "If I die, let me die." John the Baptist was so courageous to confront Herod on his ilicit and immoral affairs with Herodias. He was beheaded. He was killed. And he earlier knew it would happen. He must have said, "If I die, let me die." We live in a society where truth and justice are trampled upon. We cannot remain silent. If we die, let us die. |
