Our experience of God's mercy invites us to be equally merciful to others. In today's gospel, the man forgiven refused to forgive. This unforgiving servant does not mirror God's love and mercy. We are being challenged by the word of God. Forgiven, we must forgive. Blessed by God, we must be a blessing to others. Being "mercied" by the Lord, we should be merciful to a fellow sinner. Loved by Jesus, we must be loving |
