Be loving. Be grateful. These are paths to heaven. In today's gospel chosen for the Solemnity of the Assumption, Mary visited Elizabeth with a heart full of love [in Greek "meta spoudes"] and deep gratitude because "the Almighty has done great things." Mary's Assumption invites us to desire heaven. How do we attain heavenly joys? By a life full of love and gratitude. |
