"Joie de vivre." This is a French expression inviting us to discover and appreciate the joy of life and find happiness even in simple things. Today's gospel also focuses on joy. It is the nuptial joy of being with the groom, Jesus. There is no room for sadness in the presence of Jesus. Christianity is a religion of joy. May we find joy in our daily encounter with the Lord. |
