The cross invariably speaks to us with this encouraging message, "You are redeemed." That is why we must look at the cross with a grateful heart. Jesus was lifted up on the cross for the salvation of humanity. Each time we gaze at the cross, we are reminded of the great love with which Jesus has embraced us. We humbly say, "We adore you, O Christ. By your holy cross, you have redeemed the world." |
