An example worthy of emulation. That's the Blessed Virgin Mary. She is the model of hearing the word and acting on it. There are people who simply listen to the proclamation of the word but refuse to act on its message. When the angel told Mary she would conceive and bear a child, she gave her joyful Fiat. God constantly speaks to us. Let us listen. Let us obey. |
