During his trials, St. Lorenzo Ruiz courageously professed his faith in the Lord saying, "I am a Catholic and wholeheartedly do accept death for God. Had I a thousand lives all these to Him shall I offer." He remembered the words of Jesus, "If they persecuted me, they will persecute you." May we have the courage of St. Lorenzo Ruiz. Worth emulating. |
