A great man once said, "What you are is God's gift to you. What you become is your gift to God." Today's parable reminds us that we should bear fruits. We are stewards who are expected to make a return to the Lord with increase. When the Lord comes, we don't want him to get upset because of our being irresponsible. Instead we want him to say, "Good and faithful servant. Enter you Master's joy." |
