A bishop's mother, when asked to donate a portion of her lot, exclaimed and told her son, "Kung ikaw nga ibinigay ko sa Simbahan, lupa pa kaya ang hindi ko maibigay?" The Father gave His only Son. He can, therefore, give anything. A Trinitarian Theology underscores the love that binds the Lover (Father) and the Beloved (Son). Such Trinitarian doctrine is not to sharpen our minds but to form our hearts. It is not a problem to be solved but a mystery to be lived. |
