The Litany of the BVM aka "Litany of Loreto." developed through the years. Let us thank Pope Francis for adding "Mother of Mercy, Mother of Hope and Solace of Migrants" to the already existing Marian titles/invocations. The tendency to judge and accuse others [cf. today's gospel] is tempered by our mercy for fellow sinners. Receiving such mercy becomes a solace and a hope for them. |
