Pigs don't know the sun and the moon simply because they can't raise their heads. Today's gospel speaks of pigs [swine] which are preoccupied with themselves and would not mind even if pearls are thrown before them. This is a digression from the message of the gospel. We are truly blessed. Ants don't sleep. Butterflies have no birthdays because they live only for 47 days. What animals are deprived of, we are fully equipped with. |
