A pandemic warning that sounds like a joke - Be patient or be a patient? Reflecting on today's gospel, I ask: Are you carried by the stretcher or you carry it yourself? That paralytic must have rejoiced exultantly when he got healed. Before a stretcher used to carry his weak body. Cured by Jesus, he is now ordered to rise. He rose and carried the stretcher. Such transformation is always possible. Let us desire it. Let God do it. |
