If we are terrified by this seemingly unending quarantine, then we have no peace in our hearts. In today's gospel that actually focuses on Thomas, the apostles who were locked down were afraid of the Jews and did not have peace. It was this Peace that the Risen Lord imparted. Locked down or not, what is needed is our positive attitude coupled with a cheerful disposition. Trust in God gives us true peace. |
