Once lost but now is found. This can refer to some apostles who had an unpleasant past but were called by the Lord. Having been found by Jesus, they are sent to look for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. It is good to experience being lost. Now that we are found, we can lead those who go astray. It is not that we are righteous. It is because we know exactly how it feels to be wretched. |
