I would have cried a river when Nanay sighed, "Louie, hindi man lang kita naalagaan." That's the nature of a mother -- always caring for her child. In today's gospel, Mary was followimg Jesus. She wanted to see him. Typical of a mother. Jesus emphasized the superiority of discipleship over physical maternity. But he must have appreciated the efforts of Mary, a caring mother indeed. |
