What counts most is not the smallness of the beginning but the immensity of the end. Businessmen know that. They begin small but end up big enough. Today's gospel says the same. The mustard seed has a weak beginning but despite its littleness, it grows. We should not be dampened even if beginnings have no promises. The hugeness of the fruit is something to look forward to. |
