"He who has ears ought to hear." These words of Jesus are addressed to us because many times, we do not hear him. Hearing involves the heart. In fact the word "ear" is found inside the word "heart." When we listen, we allow the heart to hear what our ears cannot. Ears are selective and listen only to what they want to hear. The heart listens at all times. It is open and never discriminates. |
