Those who do not believe that hell exists should read today's gospel. The fiery furnace, the wailing and the grinding of teeth are enough to frighten us. Such warning serves as a deterrent. We will not do evil if we think of such misfortune. Even if we suffer in this earthly journey, it matters little as long as we enjoy eternal bliss in the life to come. |
