It was evening. The situation was getting heavy. People who followed Jesus were getting hungry. Stores were closed. Everything was negative and hopeless. But Jesus looked at the situation with optimism. He did not want to dismiss the people hungry. He told his disciples, "Give them food yourselves." When the times get rough and tough, we don't give up. We draw hope. We don't surrender with indifference. We act with love. |
