Glory behind the cross! That is the message of the Transfiguration. Jesus was transfigured before the apostles who were discouraged by the passion prediction. The Lord wanted to show them that his death will lead to the resurrection. There is crown after carrying the cross. There is gain after bearing the pain. We, too, are taught that there is light after the tunnel. Our Good Friday will be turned into Easter Sunday. |
