VISION
“A particular Church yielding to the realization of God’s plan, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, of becoming a community of disciples of Christ- a family of meek believers– following the example of Mary.�
MISSION
1.Build up a community of the disciple of Christ among the Clergy, Religious, and Laity.
2.Form its members in the spirit of the Gospel and example of Mary, the model disciple.
3.Renew the Diocese to become a Church of the Poor.
4.Intensify the formation, edification, and spread of the Basic Ecclesial Communities (BECs) as the new image of our Diocese.
MISSION STATEMENT
We, priests, religious, and laity of the Diocese of Lucena, are called upon to build up a community of the disciples of Christ, be formed in the spirit of the Gospel and example of Mary, the model disciple, renew the community to become a genuine Church of the Poor, and intensify the formation, edification, and spread of the Basic Ecclesial Communities (BECs) as the new image of our Diocese.
